Microsoft Skills Training
These courses are typically for the duration of one week (day time or evenings), however can be customized to fit your schedule. Saturday courses will run the period of four weeks ( 9:00-12:00)
Microsoft Word – To introduce the student to the use of current version of Microsoft word whereby topics include creating, editing documents, formatting, the use of spell check, the saurus, grammar, headers, footers- borders, auto text, templates, column and various style letters.
Microsoft Excel – To introduce the student to the use of 2003 or 2007 or 2010 of Microsoft Excel. Student will build a worksheet from the beginning to the intermediate level. The course will include, creating-formatting worksheets, learn various functions such as formulas, using dates, time financial function templates.
Microsoft Power Point – Students will learn how to create presentations through current version of PPT. They will also learn to create, edit, use table slide templates, use of auto shapes, drawing, create organizations charts, slide shows and create reports.
Microsoft Outlook – This course will demonstrate the hands on experience in covering the basic knowledge of utilizing MS Outlook and test your knowledge in the fundamentals of this application. This course will demonstrate the skills necessary to proficiently use the most popular business application at a user level. The parts of the course will address the areas of setting up an address book, calendar, contacts, mail management, mail usage, program usage, task and notes and printing.
Microsoft Access – This course will introduce students to the use of 2003-2007 or 2010 version of Microsoft Access. Student will learn to create a database, organizing and retrieving data, working in tables, creating queries, building forms, reports and data access pages. This course also provides features that are the initial introduction to (MOS) Microsoft Office Systems certification.
